Cambridge test day – What to expect
On a Cambridge test day, you must be present at the test centre at 8.30 to register for your Cambridge exam. Bring a valid ID/passport. The test begins at 09.00 and the test day ends by 17.00.

Test day schedule
Reading and Use of English, Writing, and Listening tests are in the morning between 9.00 – 13.30 or in the afternoon between 13.30 – 18.00. Between each component, you’ll have a 5-10 minute break. Speaking test interviews are scheduled in the afternoon between 13:00 – 17:00 or in the morning between 9.00 – 13.00. Your Speaking test time will be specified in your Confirmation of Entry. Please note that Speaking Test times may still change on the test day.
Personal belongings
You may only bring a water bottle and your ID/passport into the test room. The water bottle must be transparent and should not have a lable. No other food or drinks are allowed in the room. Lunch is not provided so please remember to bring food with you. You can bring your own writing utensils however, the test centre will provide pens, pencils, and earplugs.
Personal belongings are not allowed inside the test room. You will be able to store these in your Cambridge waiting room, which will be secure throughout the test. Electronic devices are strictly forbidden. On the test day, all your devices must be handed in. They will be returned to you at the end of the test.
